At North Oxfordshire Academy, we actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
These values form an important part of students' personal development and help prepare them to become responsible, respectful and active citizens. They are developed through our PSHCE curriculum, the wider curriculum, assemblies, tutor activities and the wider experiences and opportunities available to students across the academy.
Students are encouraged to understand their rights and responsibilities, respect the rights of others, appreciate different perspectives and understand how they can participate positively in life in modern Britain.
