Welcome to North Oxfordshire Academy

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to the NOA community.

Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone, and we want every student to feel confident, prepared and supported as they make the transition to North Oxfordshire Academy.

Throughout the transition period, we work closely with families and primary schools to get to know our new students, understand their individual needs and help them prepare for life at NOA.

Families joining Year 7 should complete their transition information using our online system.

Once everything is ready for you to get started, we’ll send you a welcome email with your username and password, along with simple instructions to help you take the next steps.

Transition, from Year 6 to North Oxfordshire Academy

Welcome to North Oxfordshire Academy!

Dear Parent/Carer

Firstly, we would like to offer a warm welcome to you and your child to the NOA community. We are delighted that your child will join us in September and look forward to building on existing relationships with families and children, as well as getting to know those of you who are new to us. We are excited to work with you and your child both now and in the future.

At NOA, we recognise that transition can be an anxious time for some students and we want to reassure you that we aim to minimise any anxiety so that your child feels excited and confident to join us.

We are in communication with feeder primary schools about transition and have been discussing plans to support your child. Communication is incredibly important: over the summer term, we will make contact with every family to discuss your child’s needs and how best we can support them.
