Here at North Oxfordshire Academy, each student and staff member belong to one of our four houses, each named after a British role model. The four houses are called Churchill, Pankhurst, Turing and Hawking. To decide on the names of the new Houses we held a vote for the students to decide what they wanted the houses to be called.
Throughout the academic year we hold various events that give the students an opportunity to earn more points for their house, promoting friendly competition between the houses and encouraging teamwork within each house. Each tutor group has nominated a Tutor Captain to attend House meetings and assist with House events. The four houses also have a Head of House.
