Mock Exams 2025-26
Mock Examinations
Mock 1 examinations will start on Monday 13th October - Friday 24th October 2025.
These assesments will focus on the Year 1 content from Year 12 which students have completed. In some subjects, part of their Year 13 (year 2) content will be assessed, and students will be informed of what they should be revising to prepare for these mocks.
Top Tips:
- Students should be revising Year 12 content alongside their new Year 13 content, which will be assessed in the mock examinations
- Revision should focus on application, where students 'apply' their knowledge to exam questions and past papers; at this stage students should be completing 1 past paper a week to develop exam skills and assess their knowledge
- Each student should aim for 4 hours per week revision for each subject. This is manageable due to students having 14 hours study time allocated on their timetables, which will support with their outcomes.
- All revision resources are available on Teams, and students will be directed to additional support in the form of textbooks and online resources to assist their revision.
Expecations During Mock Examinations
All students are expected to sit their mock examinations. If students miss a mock examination due to absence (illness) they will be required to take this mock examination when they return.
Phones are not permitted on their persons and mocks will mirror the real examinations in June, with students following JCQ guidelines.
Mock exams will be invigilated by external invigilators, and support staff. Those who have access arrangements will be honoured these, and they will be allocated either discrete accomodation, rest breaks or their extra time.
