Curriculum Development Days
• Curriculum Development Days were introduced in 2009. They are designed to be fun and to make learning more interesting and enjoyable.
• Six times during the year, students at the Academy will have a curriculum experience that is different from the daily diet of four lessons. In most cases students will engage in learning from one of their subjects for one or two days. This gives them the opportunity to go deeper into the subject. We expect the days to develop important skills like problem solving, team work, and communication.
• This table shows which subject area will plan the day for each year group.
