Corridor Rules

There are no warnings for these misbehaviours. A 30 minute detention (C3) is given if you are seen…..

1      Running / shouting in the academy building or disruptive behaviour in the corridor.

2      Wearing a coat/hat/hood/cap/scarf/gloves in the Academy.

3      Eating or drinking in the wrong place.

4      Being late to lessons (5 minutes).

5      Walking out of your lesson without permission from your teacher.

6      Being out of lessons without written permission or a pass.

7      Swearing in the hearing of a member of staff.

8      Play fighting or inappropriate physical contact.

9      Talking in assembly.

Restaurant

10    Not using the bins for all rubbish/unwanted food.

11    Throwing food.  

Classroom Rules

1      Arrive on time for every lesson.

2      Sit in your seating plan position or where the teacher tells you to sit.

3      Turn off and put away all electrical equipment (Phones, I-Pods, MP3 players etc).

4      Stay in your seat unless the teacher has given you permission to move around.

5      Listen carefully when any adult is talking.

6      Listen carefully when other students are speaking about their work.

7      Do as you are asked first time.

8      Use all equipment appropriately and safely (including all ICT equipment).

9      If you have a question or comment, put up your hand and wait for the teacher to ask you to speak.

10    Allow others to get on with their work.
